don't think i've ever actually done a proper space battle so here it is. Hopefully i'll do some more spacey scifi paintings in the future.
In the end i'm left slightly unsatisfied with this, something to do with composition\colors, not sure. I'm sure i'll figure it out one day.

Well I suppose these aren't that old, but old enough to have gathered some digital cobwebs on my hd (that implies that there are spiders on my hd too, scary thought). A few technical pieces I did for the recently released Crysis 2. It's fun to look at your old work sometimes and see how far you've gotten since. I AM still fond of overly detailed and clean linework though, kinda wish I wasn't.

Did this long time ago for the kids room. Eventually I hope to expand it. The little devil is a diehard Spongebob fan... The proportions are off but it's actually my first "real" painting! It was probably the paint fumes that messed me up ;)

Aaah... just pure self indulgence! Got a bit of advice from Mr. Chan. I never get tired of pretty yellow things with powercables on them.
It's a giant hyperspace portal used for delivering massive cargo to another planet. Apparently jet fighters can also fly through it :p

Hi internets, I'm a concept artist currently employed by Crytek in Frankfurt and this is my blog of artworks and other stuff. I'll try to keep this alive and post pretty (or not) pictures regularly.

Work stuff is all super secret so mostly what you see here is the stuff I do on my own time.

Here are a few environment pieces. I'm working on more of these on my spare time so there's more to come.

The first is a naval/air base inside a massive ice cavern. Second is an abandoned industrial site, third is a generic futuristic industrial corridor :p
